  • Lack of real-time project progress tracking, man-powered laborious project documentation and summarizations.
  • Paper-based experiment records, with bad recording standards. Searching and reviewing of historical records can be time-consuming, and data are hardly reuseable.
  • Having a complex reagents and consumable inventory, causing management troubles and increased R&D cost due to repeated procurement, expiration of unused reagents and wasting of reagents and consumables.
  • Records cannot be reviewed on time, which affects the proper ongoing of the later experiment.

 

Our Solution:

 Bawei has partnered with Neotridents Technology to launch a comprehensive R&D management solution, which includes Project Management System (PM), Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN), and Chemical Inventory Management System (CIMS), achieving integrated management of the R&D process. Through the PM system, the company can manage internal R&D projects as well as customer order projects (including customer codes, product names, customer requirements) in a refined manner, assigning tasks to designated persons in charge. Upon receiving tasks, R&D engineers can select appropriate templates within the ELN system to record relevant experimental data and set up submission and approval processes for lab records, significantly reducing the review time for R&D data. With the CIMS system, R&D raw materials are managed throughout their entire life cycle, allowing users to easily view near-expiry reagents and safety data sheets (MSDS) for chemicals, effectively lowering R&D costs and preventing duplicate procurement among departments.
