Zhejiang Brilliant Optoelectronic Technology Co., LTD. is a high-tech company founded in March 2020, with independent IP OLED material development technology. At present, the company’s conventional products are mainly high-end intermediates, and the main research and development products are key functional layer materials in OLED – luminous layer materials (red, green, blue), including the main material and guest materials (especially thermal assisted delayed fluorescence (MR-TADF) materials). Products are directly sold to the international OLED material manufacturers and major panel manufacturers for AMOLED display panel manufacturing, currently focusing on evaporation materials, while actively layout the next generation of display technology and materials, namely printed OLED display.

 

Targets & Goals

In order to cope with the current market situation, to further improve the company’s overall research and development efficiency, and planning the layout of next-generation materials in advance, and lay a solid foundation for the company’s subsequent business expansion, Brilliant Optoelectronic decided to introduce R&D information system. After strict selection, Brilliant Optoelectronic finally chose to cooperate with Neotrident Technology to launch iLabPower SaaS cloud based Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN).

 

Our Solution

 Compared with the traditional localization deployment method, the iLabPower SaaS cloud platform has the advantages of faster implementation, lower cost, simplified operation and maintenance. All system modules have been deployed on the cloud server, system will be operational with a lower cost and in a shorter time, and achieve the same using experience as the localized deployment.

 

In the iLabPower PM project management system, Brilliant Optoelectronics refined its project management and reduces the risk of project execution by splitting tasks and milestones for each project. At the same time, the project information is automatically pushed to the ELN system, hence all experimental records are associated with the relevant project, and the data management of the project dimension is realized. Using ELN’s experimental template, experimental cloning, mobile APP and other functions, simplified the experimental record sorting process, and free front-line scientists from the complicated record data sorting work. At the same time, the built-in material and instrument management function and instrument data analysis function are used to realize the rapid entry of commonly used materials and instrument information and instrument data, which further improves the work of front-line R&D personnel and laboratory management efficiency.

 

At the same time, through the electronic recording of the experiment, all of the R&D data were stored online in a structured manner, which lays a solid foundation for the reuse and value maximization of historical data in the future.
